Barca watched five Spurs and Liverpool players at Wembley

Barselona sent their chief transfer operator to Wembley on Sunday to watch five players in action as Tottenham beat Liverpool.

Barcelona are making plans for their upcoming transfer windows, with Philippe Coutinho top of their wish list. Liverpool are expected to receive more offers for Coutinho in January after they rebuffed bids from Barca over the summer. But the Brazilian was not the only man on Barcelona’s radar yesterday. According to Barcelona-based newspaper Mundo Deportivo, the Nou Camp club are also monitoring four Spurs players. Barca technical director Robert Fernandez was at the game yesterday, where Liverpool lost 4-1 in a damning performance for Jurgen Klopp''s title challenge, Express says. Mundo Deportivo claim Fernandez watched out for Harry Kane and Dele Alli, Spurs’ two most high-profile players who are sought after across Europe. But the transfer guru was also keeping an eye on Davinson Sanchez and Christian Eriksen.

Eriksen has already been linked to Barca in the past but for the club to be eyeing Sanchez is somewhat of a surprise.
